Official

Well its official. My parents are officially no longer Oklahomans. Now they are Iowans. My dad got a call to a town just outside of Sioux City and they moved. Mom finished the 3rd quarter at school and now is done teaching for awhile. They put their house on the market and it SOLD in less than a week. They close at the end of this month on my birthday. YAYE for them.

Its also Spring Break this week, which i am glad for. However, i am bored. Everyone is out of town or working. I guess thats life after college and school.

Let the fun begin....

I get to take 2 weeks off! But the reason for it isn't so fun. I get to have my gall bladder out. Which is great because I will be able to eat normal food again and people will stop telling me to quit losing wait ( like I can control that-- most people can, I can't. eating causes pain.) The down side is I have to get 2 or 3 weeks of lesson plans ready in a short period of time.

Let the fun begin.....

Inevitable

Well,  the inevitable happened. The wierd thing is it doesnt really bother me. A friend yesterday made the observation that I have had two major upheavals and departures in my life this week and I am HAPPY. She hasnt see me this happy in a few months. For one, my teaching will be a lot easier now and so will my social life. I no longer have to worry about who I tell what to or if I can tell soemone something for fear of having an argument. I also dont have to worry about being accused of doing things that I never did. I feel free. And it is great!

Impass

Have you ever been at a point in your life where you have to options, one being good for you and the other being not so good for you. And you know the inevitable is going to happen and the option chosen of course is the one that is not so good for you. Well, I am at that point in my life on a few things. So we will see where I am at at Christmas Time.

What's been going on in my life... Well, nothing really. 2 weeks ago I went to Phoenix and spent a fabulous 4 days with my brother, sister-in-law and neice. GREAT TIMES!! Pictures included. Other than that, school is school. First grade is starting to wear on me.I have heartburn constantly and am pretty sure I am developing an ulcer from the stress. I realized that I wouldnt mind too much to go and teach closer to my brother and his family. Anyway, pictures from the visit 2 weeks ago. AND my cute little neice Brooke is crawling and has 2 teeth coming in. She is 6 months old.
